The automotive training program at 91ÇÑ×Ó has received Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Training Program accreditation by the ASE Education Foundation through May 2025. 91ÇÑ×Ó’s automotive program has been accredited in the following: Automobile Service Technology.
To achieve this coveted recognition, the school’s automotive training program underwent rigorous evaluation by the ASE Education Foundation. Nationally accepted standards of excellence in areas such as instruction, facilities, and equipment were used.
This program increases cooperation between local education and industry leaders, it gives added assurance that 91ÇÑ×Ó’s graduates will be employable entry-level technicians. As a result of the quality education provided by 91ÇÑ×Ó, the motoring public will benefit since better repair technicians will join the workforce. Upon completion of the evaluation, 91ÇÑ×Ó became accredited by the ASE Education Foundation. “I am really proud of the work of our Business and Industry Pathway Dean, Dr. Kayla Kelly and our Automotive Technology Pathway program coordinator, Dr. Jerry Hampton for all the work they do to maintain, build, and grow our program into a great opportunity for students, the local community, and nearby industries…truly making 91ÇÑ×Ó the “College of Choice” said Dr. Kerry Schindler, Vice President of Instruction. The ASE Education Foundation is a non-profit, independent organization that evaluates and accredits entry-level technician training programs against standards developed by the automotive industry.
Business and Industry Pathway Dean, Dr. Kayla Kelly added, “The process for reaccreditation was truly a team effort. I appreciate the time and dedication spent by our Automotive faculty and staff members, advisory board members, and automotive industry partners who assisted with this process. I am very proud of all of their efforts to achieve this accomplishment.”
